The ZOK 27 gas turbine compressor and gas path cleaner features a water-based, biodegradable formula that acts as both a cleaner and corrosion inhibitor. Its unique design allows engines to be washed and protected, enabling an immediate start without requiring a rinse beforehand.
This is originally developed for the UK Ministry of Defence, it is now widely used across various industries, including aviation, marine, power generation, oil and gas, and industrial sectors.
The effectiveness and duration of corrosion inhibition depend on environmental conditions. However, it can be easily restored with a simple engine wash no demineralized water rinse needed.
ZOK 27 is available in both concentrate and ready-to-use forms.
Regular use of ZOK 27 helps reduce fuel consumption, lower exhaust gas temperatures, and decrease emissions. It also contributes to power recovery and extends the lifespan of engine components.
The product contains corrosion inhibitors, allowing engines to be left ready for instant restart, even in salty offshore conditions.
ZOK 27 is environmentally friendly, meeting demanding aquatic toxicity requirements.
ZOK 27 is suitable for both on-line (hot) and off-line (cold) compressor cleaning. For use, it should be diluted at a ratio of 1 part ZOK 27 to 4 parts water (20% solution). Demineralized water with conductivity less than 11 µS/cm is recommended for on-line cleaning, while good-quality drinking water with conductivity less than 500 µS/cm may be used for off-line cleaning.
