Sanosil Perox 25 is a disinfectant concentrate. Designed for professional users, it delivers reliable microbial control across water systems, pipelines, tanks, and treated surfaces.
The formula pairs 25% hydrogen peroxide — a well-established, environmentally responsible active agent — with a trace silver stabilizer (0.025%) that dramatically amplifies its biocidal performance and extends residual protection on treated surfaces. Once applied, invisible silver traces continue to inhibit re-contamination long after treatment.

Applications
Sanosil Perox 25 is formulated for four primary disinfection scenarios, each with specific dilution guidance to ensure efficacy and compliance.
Effective against bacteria, viruses, yeasts, and fungi on hard surfaces. Pre-clean heavily soiled surfaces before application. Apply by spray or mop; no rinsing required after treatment. Contact time: 15 min (bacteria/mould), 60 min (viruses/fungi).
Preferred method for water systems, tanks, and drinking water equipment. Fill the system with the prepared solution and allow a contact dwell time of 12–24 hours. Treated water can be safely discharged into the sewage system.
Controls microbial growth in process water, spray water, rinsing water, cooling towers, air washers, and irrigation systems. Regulated by EU standards — max. 34 ppm at tap point.

Working Principle
Hydrogen peroxide releases elemental oxygen (O₂) which directly attacks microbial cell walls, denaturing and destroying the wall molecules through an irreversible chemical reaction.
Silver ions form bonds with disulfide bridges in microbial proteins, inactivating or precipitating these proteins and rendering the organism non-viable — even at ultra-low concentrations.
Invisible silver traces remain on treated surfaces after drying, continuing to inhibit renewed microbial contamination without any visible deposit or toxic risk to personnel.
Hydrogen peroxide degrades harmlessly into water and oxygen, leaving no chlorine, no carcinogens, and no hazardous residues — fully compatible with wastewater disposal regulations.
