Loctite EA 934NA is a two-component thixotropic paste adhesive ideal for potting, filling, fairing, and liquid shim applications. It is widely used in the aerospace industry for bonding aluminum skins to honeycomb cores and for structural repairs where high compressive strength and gap-filling properties are required.
Loctite EA 934NA is qualified to MMM-A-132 Type 1, Class 3, Form P, Group 1. It also meets major OEM standards, including Boeing (BMS 5-109) and Pratt & Whitney (PWA 457-1), making it a globally approved adhesive for both civil and defense aircraft maintenance.
This adhesive is engineered for high-temperature performance, maintaining superior bond strength at temperatures up to $149^\circ\text{C}$ ($300^\circ\text{F}$) and higher. Its thermal stability ensures that structural repairs remain secure even in areas subject to significant heat soak.
At room temperature ($25^\circ\text{C}$), EA 934NA has a pot life of 40–50 minutes for a 450g mass. It achieves handling strength in approximately 8 hours and reaches a full cure in 5 to 7 days at room temperature. For faster turnaround, it can be fully cured in 1 hour at $93^\circ\text{C}$ ($200^\circ\text{F}$).
