LPS 3 is a heavy-duty long-term corrosion inhibitor that forms a soft, transparent, waxy film to seal out moisture, air, and corrosive fumes. Its unique self-healing property allows the film to automatically "close" if scratched, ensuring continuous protection for aircraft fuselages, cargo sections, and stored metal parts.
LPS 3 provides up to 2 years of protection for metal parts stored indoors and approximately 7 to 9 months for parts stored outdoors. It is specifically engineered to protect against harsh environments, including salt spray and high humidity, making it ideal for overseas shipments.
LPS 3 is qualified to major aerospace standards, including BMS 3-23G Type II Class I (Boeing), Airbus AIMS 09-08-001, and MIL-PRF-16173E Grade 2 Class 1. It also conforms to DMS 2150 and is approved by Pratt & Whitney under PWA 36604.
