Loctite EA 9396 AERO is a low-viscosity, two-part structural epoxy adhesive. It is specifically designed for wet lay-up, repair of composite structures, and potting applications. Its liquid form allows it to penetrate deep into composite fibers, making it an industry standard for structural airframe repairs.
One of the main advantages of EA 9396 is that it does not require refrigeration for short-term storage. It features excellent shelf-life stability at room temperature, which simplifies logistics for MRO facilities compared to other structural adhesives that require constant cold storage.
This adhesive is engineered to maintain high structural integrity across a wide temperature range. It develops excellent strength at room temperature and maintains its mechanical properties at elevated temperatures up to 177°C (350°F), making it suitable for areas subject to high thermal stress.
