Loctite EA 9395 AERO is a two-component thixotropic epoxy paste adhesive designed for aerospace applications requiring durable bonds and high-temperature resistance. It is ideal for potting, filling, fairing, and structural repair, particularly when bonding composite substrates.
Unlike many structural epoxies, EA 9395 contains no metallic fillers. This makes it an essential choice for applications where Radar Absorbent Material (RAM) or Radar Absorbing Structure (RAS) considerations are important. It also offers exceptional mechanical properties and superior compressive strength at elevated temperatures.
This adhesive is engineered to maintain high strength even in extreme heat, with a service temperature reaching up to 177°C (350°F). Its ability to retain over 1000 psi of strength at these temperatures makes it suitable for components near engine nacelles and other high-heat zones.
