Yes, the Accura 5 is fully compatible with Nitrogen, compressed air, and other inert gases. For aviation safety, it is often supplied with 4G1 hydraulic oil-resistant armored hoses, which are specifically designed to resist degradation when exposed to Skydrol and other phosphate-ester hydraulic fluids.
For safety and to prevent sensor damage, the PCL Nitrogen Analyser should not be connected to closed pressure systems exceeding 175 psi (12 bar). When testing high-pressure aircraft tyres, ensure a proper sampling valve is used to bleed a small, controlled flow of gas across the sensor.
